Super star Rajinikanth’s Endhiran movie was released this week in various languages and I am hearing good reviews about it so far.

Some of my friends watched it in Chennai and came back and said that Sankar has spent over 150 crores very well in the graphics effects.

The initial reviews from Dubai came out very well with one die-hard fan saying this is the best movie ever (that review coming from a Rajini fan should not be taken at face value 🙂 ).

A few online sites like Great Andhra has given a rating of 3.7 which is considered very high given the fact that their average reviews are around 2 or 2.5.

Some people said the last 30 minutes is something no one has ever tried in any movie before – in a positive sense.

Another friend of mine who watched it in Dallas mentioned that the graphics effect in the second half was too much and he could not take it.

Overall, it appears to be a good opening for the movie, we will have to wait and see how it goes.

Since I am a hard core Rajini fan, many people asked me if I am planning to watch the movie – I do want to watch it, but not paying ridiculous amount of money, just because it has superstar in it. It is just a movie – so I will watch it when it comes out with the price I am ok with paying to watch any other movie.

In any case, will update this post as and when I get the reviews from other friends of mine. Have you seen Endhiran or Robo? If you have, do reply and let us know how you liked it.

  1. In simple words a tamilian made 1st Hollywood movie in tamil language. We should proud. I have to say onething that no one can do Superstar role in Enthiran in the future too(innum evanum porakala). All the wishes and credits should goto entire Enthiran team. Its a group effort.

    1. I am with you on that. As a Superstar fan, I know how it feels. Shankar’s use of 150+ crores appears to have supported his statement saying ‘If you feel tamil movies have not matched hollywood movies, give us the same money spent by hollywood movies and then compare us – we will show you what we are capable of’. I guess he has proved himself right here 🙂

  2. […] All these days I have only heard good reviews about Endhiran. As I have mentioned earlier I waited to watch this movie until the ticket rates become normal and now that it is normal, I decided to watch this movie last night at Big Cinemas on Oak Tree Road, New Jersey. […]
