Netflix tie up with UTV India has given me an opportunity to watch all their movies they have online and because of this tie up, I have watched more hindi movies in the past one year than ever before.

Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani is the latest one in this list. APKGK is one of the best time pass movies I have watched in a long time. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif play the lead role in this movie, where from the get go it is nothing but comedy. My son and I loved this movie so much that we watched this movie twice – on consecutive days.

Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of ‘Prem’ who does nothing useful, but has a club called ‘Happy’ club, where he and his friends while away their time. Katrina Kaif plays the role of Jenny, who is a very humble girl, who happens to be raised by her foster parents, without much love and affection. Ranbir Kapoor kidnaps Katrina Kaif and then the usual romance builds up with a long winding climax, after lots of humourous scenes.

My favourite scene is the one where Ranbir Kapoor goes for a party with Katrina Kaif where her fiance also turns up, but then gets booted out by Ranbir Kapoor. The music that follows Ranbir Kapoor every time he does something funny in this scene is the best of it all.

Katrina Kaif has been consistently gorgeous in all her movies I have seen, and in this one looks amazing. It is her smile that comes with a touch of innocence which adds to her acting and dancing abilities. Overall she did her best.

Salman Khan gives a guest appearance in one scene, where he cracks a wonderful timing joke saying ‘Why are you so scared as though you are introducing my girl friend to me’ 🙂

All the songs are wonderful in the movie and my favourite one is Tu Jaane Na the tune of this song just stays in the heart for a long time.

Overall, I would highly recommend this movie to anyone interested in spending three hours laughing.
