Since we did not get tickets for Avatar last night, we decided to watch a movie at home. We decided to watch Main aur Mrs.Khanna (This movie was originally named as Mr. and Mrs.Khanna) starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Sohail Khan.

This movie was one of the worst movies I have ever watched. I really feel they could have done much better with the story line, than this crew which was a total mismatch to the story.

The movie is all about a girl from an orphanage, Kareena Kapoor, who gets married to Salman, playing the role of a husband who goes through rough patches in life and lets his wife all alone while he goes on his quest to become successful. Though his approach is that, Kareena seems to be confused by it and there comes Sohail Khan, as the person who helps her in her time of need. Sohail Khan is the producer of the movie and it is evident from the fact that he has given himself the lead role. Someone should ask him to just produce and stop acting in movies.

Kareena Kapoor had very good costume in the movie, right from her time in the orphanage (I wonder which orphanage in India give such posh clothing to its inmates). For some reason, I am not impressed by her looks, while I have heard good reviews about how gorgeous she looks.

I am watching a Salman Khan movie after a very long break. The last movie I saw of him was Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. After nine years, Salman’s voice was the initial shock that I got. I wasnt sure if he was trying to joke with that voice in his introduction scene, but after some time I realized his voice itself is like that. One word for my view on Salman’s acting: Pathetic. I am quite sure that I will be not be seeing another Salman movie for at least nine more years.

The songs in the movie are ok, but overall I would not recommend this movie to any one.
