After getting the Netflix DVD that let’s us watch movies streamed using our Netflix account to our TV via the Wii console, I got addicted to it last week.

It started with Life Boat (a Alfred Hitchcock movie) on Sunday and then continued into the week. Every evening I used to come home and watch one movie, Kurbaan on Monday, Dance Pe Chance on Tuesday, New York on Wednesday, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi on Thursday and Last Emperor on Friday.

As I had a cricket match on Saturday morning and we went for a birthday party on Saturday evening, we went directly to their house from there and hence did not get a chance to touch the Wii remote at home. With Sunday fully spent on the badminton court, I was very tired by the time we came home at 8pm and so no Wii on sunday too.

I don’t know when I will be watching another Netflix movie on the Wii again, but so far I have enjoyed every minute of it. Some of my friends did mention the higher quality of connection you get when you use a PS3 or a xbox due to the better cables used, I am hoping that limitation with the Wii can also be solved in the near future.
