Yesterday David Headley, a key accused in Mumbai Blasts, had reached a plea agreement with the US District Judge, in exchange for a deal which made sure he will not have death penalty or extradition to any foreign country. This is in exchange for his full cooperation during any investigations, which will be held only in US.

While some contend that this will help prevent future terrorist attacks and also help get valuable information from him, it was shocking to see someone accused of terrorism manage to negotiate his way out this way. There is a chance that he can be let out on parole!

Would be acceptable to the US Government if a terrorist wanted by the US in a similar situation is given such a deal in the country of his/her birth?
