May be it is the Honeymoon period, but definitely I get a feeling that Ubuntu is here to stay.
Usually, I use FTP to connect and upload files to my website. In the PCs with Windows OS, I used to download a ftp client such as WinSCP – I specifically chose a FTP client that also supports SFTP.
With Ubuntu, I did not have to install anything. It comes in built, just clicked Places – Connect to Server – and there it was.
I had a similar experience some days back when I could do a ‘Whois Lookup’ from within Ubuntu itself.
As you can see the WOW factor continues.
